Amy Andrews is an international award-winning permanent makeup artist with over 5 years experience. After completing training in 2016 at Dermace Academy, she has been focussed on creating and perfecting her permanent eyebrow treatments. In 2018, Amy continued refining her skills by attending highly sought after ombre masterclasses with the industry's leaders in ombre brows. After recently completing further training in 2020, Amy is now thrilled to expand her services to include eyeliner and lip tattoo.
Visual, artistic, and possessing a very keen eye for eyebrows, Amy takes exceptional time, care and pride in achieving the highest quality of work and symmetry possible for all of her clients. With a previous tattoo apprenticeship, makeup artistry training from London College of Fashion and advanced permanent makeup training by the best in the industry, you can rest assured that you'll receive her close attention and informed advice. Amy will advise you to the best of her ability, but you always have the final say over the look of your permanent makeup.
The first step to take if you are considering having your eyebrows, lips or eyes enhanced by cosmetic tattooing is to contact Amy to chat about your brow/eyeliner/lip history and goals. You will then require a patch test, which can be sent to you by post or applied in person at listed locations.
After the patch test, Amy can book the first of the two sessions required for your permanent makeup to be completed. Price is inclusive of your booking deposit and aftercare.
During your first session, Amy will apply topical anaesthetic, mix a custom pigment for you and measure and pencil your brows. The drawing will work with your bone structure and natural hair growth , adding improvements, corrections and working together to achieve your desired shape. An ombre powder effect technique with a gentle machine method will be applied to create a natural looking, softly defined appearance to the brows. Please allow 3 - 4 hours for the first session. Eyeliner and lip treatments are a similar process, carefully drawing and measuring your lips or eyeliner first, always with your utmost approval and consideration to your individual features and preferences.
The second session involves going over your pigment again to fill any areas where the pigment may have healed lighter and making any adjustments required. Please allow 1 - 1.5 hours for this session.
PMU typically lasts 1-3 years before top ups are required to refresh. Top ups required after 1 year are available at a discounted rate for existing clients.
